Return · Chapter 1 of 3
Am I still a person to them?
At Return, the customer is asking whether they still matter. This is where relationships are quietly built or quietly lost.
The Return reader thinks: "Do they remember me now that I've paid?" They feel familiar but easily forgotten. They fear becoming a number, being upsold instead of served. They need small, human gestures that assume the relationship continues.
The Return stage is invisible in most funnels because the transaction is already booked. But it is the stage that determines whether one purchase becomes ten, or whether a customer becomes an advocate.
