Discover · Chapter 3 of 3

The one-sentence rewrite

Discover is won or lost in a single sentence. Here is a repeatable way to write it.

The mirror formula

A strong Discover sentence has three parts: a specific reader, a quiet tension they live with, and a hint of the shift you help them make. Not a promise. A hint.

"For founders whose best work is quietly ignored — a calmer way to be chosen." That is a mirror, a tension, and a direction, in fifteen words.

Where to place it

Above the fold on your homepage. As the first line of your About page. As the bio on the one social profile that drives the most traffic. As the opening sentence of every long-form post.

The same sentence, everywhere, until the reader hears it in their sleep. Repetition is not laziness at this stage — it is how recognition is built.

Apply this week

  • Write three versions of your mirror sentence.
  • Read each one out loud to a real person in your audience.
  • Ship the one that makes them go "yes, that."

Sit with this

If a stranger only ever read that one sentence, would they know who you serve?
