Explore · Chapter 1 of 3
Good design is not proof
Once someone decides you might be for them, they start looking for reasons not to trust you. That is not cynicism. That is self-protection.
At the Explore stage, the person is asking a quieter question: "Who is actually behind this, and are they honest?" They feel watchful. They fear being fooled by a pretty homepage. What they need is a named human, a real story, and one small piece of proof.
This is where most online businesses lose people invisibly. The visitor doesn't complain. They don't unsubscribe. They just close the tab and never come back, because nothing on the page felt real.

- Find every page on your site with the word "we." Change one of them to "I," with a name.
- Add one photograph of a real human — you, ideally — that is not a stock image or an AI headshot.
