The five-second test

Show the page to three people for five seconds, then hide it. Tick each that two-out-of-three can answer.

• They can say who the page is for
• They can name what it helps them do
• They can describe the tone in one word — and it matches what you'd want
• They remember at least one specific detail, not a generic vibe

Proof, placed where the doubt lives

• There is named proof — first name and role — above the fold
• Every strong claim has a piece of evidence within one scroll of it
• Numbers, if used, are ones you could defend in a conversation
• At least one piece of proof is a real screenshot of a real message
• No anonymous testimonials — they read as fiction even when they aren't

Checklist

The small frictions

• Mobile loads in under 2 seconds on a real phone, not just on yours
• The page does not interrupt the read with a popup in the first 30 seconds
• Pricing is on the page, or there is a clear honest reason it isn't
• There is one — only one — primary next action
• Contact is one click away and the reply address is a real human
